orange smoothie

What more could you want than a smoothie that helps to reduce some of the symptoms of menopause, and that’s the great thing about food, it can be used quite specifically to aid health issues that you might have.

So a really quick addition to the recipes on the website today, and every easy to make, and one that is great for the kids as well because it’s quite sweet. It’s also going to be quite good for those of you who have sweet cravings and are attempting to give up sugar.

My grandad used to have an orange a day, and he was very right to add that into his diet, because there are a lot of benefits to adding citrus. There are studies showing how it can combat stomach cancer from Japan, and it’s been shown to fight off Helicobacter Pylori, which is something I see a lot of and now not only in adults but also children.

Citrus essential oils have been used in research as well to resolve stomach ulcers, which is amazing. So not just for the menopausal amongst us.

Using linseed meal or flax meal has been shown to reduce menopausal symptoms, at just 5g a day it’s really not a lot, and it’s very inexpensive to add into your diet.
